When Should We Start?
We generally recommend beginning lessons 3–6 months before your wedding date. The earlier you start, the more time you’ll have to create something truly extravagant. If you’ve waited until the last minute, don’t worry—we’re happy to accommodate any timeline and still deliver beautiful results.
How Long Should Our First Dance Song Be?
We suggest keeping the dance between 90 seconds and 3 minutes for the most comfortable and impactful experience. If needed, we can professionally edit your chosen music to the perfect length and tempo.
How Do We Choose the Right Song?
Select a few songs that hold special meaning for you, and we’ll guide you in choosing the one that best aligns with your dance vision and skill level.
How Many Lessons Will We Need?
It varies depending on your goals. For a simple, elegant sway, a couple of lessons may be sufficient. For fully choreographed routines with dips, lifts, or intricate steps, plan on several months of consistent sessions. Practicing at home between lessons will also help you retain and refine the choreography more quickly.
How Much Will It Cost?
Pricing is customized based on each couple’s song choice, vision, and desired complexity. To make it easy to get started, we offer all bridal couples a complimentary consultation lesson plus a special package of seven lessons for $385.
We’re Both Completely Uncoordinated—Will Lessons Actually Help?
Absolutely. Even if you’re not aiming for a fully choreographed performance, a few private lessons with an experienced instructor can dramatically improve your confidence, posture, and connection on the dance floor, ensuring you look and feel polished on your wedding day.
What should I wear?
We recommend that you wear the shoes you plan on wearing for your special day. We also recommend practicing a time or two in a long gown if your dress is floor length. We also recommend telling your instructor about the neckline and fullness of the skirt of your dress to make sure any tricks or lifts will work without any wardrobe malfunctions.
